Registered Nurses (RN)

Residential Care Aide

  • Current registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
  • CRRP Letter (Criminal Records Review Program, not RCMP CRC) (please ask your current or previous employer for a copy of this letter)
  • Proof of negative TB test (please ask your current or previous employer for copy)

Care Aides MAY also require proof of:

  • Medication Administration Course
  • Food Safe
  • WHMIS
  • First Aide and/or CPR

Community Care Aide

Advanced Home Care Solutions is seeking one or more Care Aides to service our Kelowna (and surrounding area) clients. Shifts are 1-2 hours each. Job duties include basic personal care, meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, socializing and attending activities with client(s). Ideal applicant will be mature and accountable with a few years of field experience.

MUST have:

  • Health Care Assistant course
  • Food Safe
  • 2 professional references in Community Care sector
  • RCMP Criminal Check
  • Driver’s license with own vehicle

  • We currently have approx. 20 hours per week but are willing to split the shifts to accommodate care aides who work with other companies

Administrative Coordinator

This role is responsible for directly liaising with employees and clients to effect deployment to worksites. This position currently performs new hire onboarding duties, liaising with schedulers and key client contacts, scheduling, confirming travel arrangements for travel staff, keeping in touch with travel staff about new assignments, processing payroll and billing reports. Duties subject to change.

Our ideal candidate will have payroll processing experience using ADP, and be self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is looking for more than just a “job”, the opportunity to take part in growing a business providing an essential service to our seniors.

Part of this role will be to undertake administrative tasks that may be related to set up of programs, processes and procedures.

Successful candidate will be expected to support Public Health mandates in your region and province.
Required qualifications:
  • Live in Ontario
  • 45+ wpm typing speed
  • Up to date home office: PC (not MAC), Printer/Scanner, smart phone
  • Quiet home office space without distractions
  • Payroll and billing processing experience – Specifically using ADP
  • Tech savvy and able to trouble shoot and problem solve
  • Ability to learn and gain proficiency in software programs
  • HR experience would be an asset
  • Ability to take on-call rotations on evenings and weekends
  • Proof of double vaccination
Preferred qualifications/ experience:
  • Experience using MS Teams
  • Experience using ClearCare would be an asset
  • Business, management or HR program graduation
  • Experience working in a Long Term Care environment
  • Health care scheduling experience (not ‘appointments’)
  • Private sector/small business experience
