Your daily responsibilities include:

  • ensuring treatment plans are followed by Team leads
  • liaising with residents, families, physicians and paraprofessionals
  • participating in team conferences and med rec's
  • ensuring adequate staffing for upcoming shifts
  • coaching LPN's in treatments, or medication delivery
  • ensuring care teams are supported
  • reviewing doctors orders, supply ordering

Must have:

  • RN license in BC
  • First Aide
  • 10 years + of residential care charge nurse experience
  • neg TB

You will be primarily responsible for liaising with our community LPN's and RCA's who are caring for injured workers recovering at home. You will also undertake performance evaluations of workers, write client assessment reports, and be available to visit clients in their own homes, should this be required. Tele-health visits available in all locations when this is needed.

Complete orientation to protocols, report writing and job duties.
